My teaching career has almost always been full of technology. I was given a Promethean board a few months after I started teaching. The activboard came with a set of active votes. The next year when I was switched to 4th grade math, I was given a class set of laptops to use with my kids. My classroom has always has technology, but that is not the case for everyone.
